Indonesia Made Guitar Achieve Guitar of The Year 2012

March, 68 Thousand Workers Exposed to Layoffs

Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration recorded the termination of employment (FLE) as of March 2010 reached 68,332 workers. Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhaimin Iskandar explained, until now, no layoffs are happening related to the impact of the implementation of a free trade agreement (Free Trade Agreement / FTA) ASEAN-China. Meanwhile, laid-off workers reached 27,860 people.

"It is possible that the potential for increased layoffs due to the implementation of the free trade agreement between ASEAN and China. However, until now it has not happened," said Muhaimin in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

According to him, the impact of ACFTA is not inevitable. Therefore, the Indonesian workers would not want to increase productivity, competence and discipline in order to increase competitiveness.

Some business sectors, according to him, potentially impacted the implementation of ACFTA. Business sectors that include textiles, trade, and manufacturing. However, he acknowledged that the government would continue to monitor and make inroads to avoid layoffs for workers or laborers.

"One of the efforts from the government is reviewing several labor laws, including wage about the use of foreign labor and to encourage more conducive business climate in order to avoid layoffs," he said.

Besides, according to him, Manpower is conducting entrepreneurship program to expand employment opportunities.

He added that, at present, is the awareness that needs to be developed to increase the productivity of workers independently.
"If productivity and competence of workers rise, companies must be able to survive and avoid layoffs," he said.

Evina (Electric Vehicle Indonesia)

Electric Vehicle Indonesia (Evina) - Evina is an electric car project ever tested by the SOE Minister Dahlan Iskan, ready to be launched in the near future. Cars that projected as national electric car is planned to be slid onto the highway Indonesia this year with a price tag of Rp. 135 million per unit.  Evina itself, has been tested several times at the time was still a pre-production prototype. And for the umpteenth time, yesterday (Sunday, January 6, 2012) conducted trials back in the city of Bandung by President Director of PT PLN and all ranks. Although the test drive of the electric vehicle, PLN does not mean it will act as a producer, but will provide the charging infrastructure electric car. PLN promised to set up charging infrastructure in order to support the development of electric cars in Indonesia.
Evina electric car is produced by PT Pratama Sarimas Ahmadi, had exhibited some time ago by Dahlan Iskan and experienced several development. Currently Evina capable of racing at speeds till 120 km / h and acceleration is fairly smooth. but It's just not likely know when will it be officially rolled on the streets of Indonesia.
